Hello Friends,
My name is Eric Rosenthal and I wanted to welcome you to this website! A little about me. I have four children (one on the way) and a beautiful wife named Sam. We are both originally from Southern California, but now live in the great state of Arizona. I have lived in Arizona for the past nine years, while my wife has lived here since 2005. I am so thankful that you are here. Here is how the site got started.
Just one day ago, I was sitting in church at CCV (Christs Church of the Valley) in Avondale, Arizona and God spoke to me before the sermon got started. I was told to spread the word about him and to not wait any longer. It was all going to be done through a website, since I have experience creating websites and blogs. I thanked the Lord for this mission and prayed on it. I told my wife about it outside as soon as the sermon was complete and she was so happy to hear about it. I could not wait to get this website started and to start helping people find the Lord.
I am currently a student in the College of Theology at Grand Canyon University. My degree program is Christian Studies. I am very excited to apply everything I am learning in college to this website. I know this is God’s way of helping me get started in a career in ministry.
Back to what happened yesterday. About 30 minutes after church, me and my family were shopping at the grocery store. We were getting a few items before heading over to my wife's parents house. While at the store, I received horrible news through text from one of my old Marine pals. One of our old buddies from our unit killed himself. This news broke me. This guy was a solid Marine and always made everyone around him happy. This was an all too familiar text however. Time and time again I hear of guys from my old unit letting the demons take over and then they end up taking their own life. The last Marine I knew that took his own life before this one was right before Christmas two months ago. The one before him was in the spring of 2023. Every time I hear this news, I always wish I could have done something to prevent this. I wish I could have told them how important they are. I wish I could have been there to pray for them and pray for Jesus to cast out all of their demons.
After I heard this news. It showed me how important it was to get this website up and running. I have to reach as many people as I can and show them there is hope when they are in darkness. Maybe, just maybe, someone that is contemplating suicide will come across here and see the good news about Jesus. They will learn the truth and pray in Jesus name that all the darkness will be cast out of them, so they can start their journey as a born again Christian.
I will eventually post my full testimony here on this site. I want to share my story and show that if Jesus could turn my life around, he can turn ANYONE’S life around. I may not feel qualified to run a Christian website, nor did I ever expect to run a Christian website. However, it is not about how I feel or how “qualified” I think I am. God has set me up to do this, and I will obey. He provides the strength and the guidance, and we just need to move. As you will see in my testimony, absolutely nothing could have turned my life around except for the power and love of God Almighty.
“But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.” Ephesians 2: 4-5
